Design: Typography Workshop

The University of Delaware's Visual Communications Program offers an online Typography Workshop:

We have developed this web site and its exercises to help students develop a tasteful sensitivity when setting type. We have over 75 exercises to help students learn to artfully control letter spacing. Letter spacing is a fine-tuning process that demonstrates a designer's sensitivity towards typography. Words are made up of what seems to be an infinite number of letter combinations. But not all of these letter fit together very well.
