  • Zebra Tables: Get alternating colors without all the maintenance headaches. The article's code works in IE6, Nav6, and Mozilla browsers. Follow the suggestion on page 2 of the comments to get IE5 compatibility as well.
  • CSS Sprites: Image Slicing's Kiss of Death: Allows you to have all button images in one GIF, with both mouseover on and off states. Happy Cog Studios uses this method for their nav buttons.
