Web: More Extensions for Firefox
Here are several more recommended extensions to add to the Firefox browser:
- CTC: Adds "Close Tab" option to the right-click menu.
- ieview: Allows a link or the current page viewed in Firefox to be opened in IE.
- Linky: Allows users to open or download all or selected links or text web addresses in new tabs or windows.
- Web Developer Extension: This is the biggie. Adds a nifty toolbar of options for web developers. Here are a few highlights:
- Display, disable, or edit stylesheets.
- Disable JavaScript.
- Display image dimensions, filesize, or path.
- Outline tables, table cells, or block elements.
- Display, disable, or edit stylesheets.

FirefoxView : Via Scot's Newsletter:
"This unique Firefox extension is sort of the reverse of IE View. It installs in Firefox, and from there, offers the ability install and uninstall a modification to Internet Explorer that lets you right-click any open Web page (or link) in IE and choose the option 'View this Page in Firefox.'"
LiveLines:
"Add RSS feeds to Bloglines or Sage with the RSS icon on the status bar. It detects RSS feeds which are within anchor tags instead of link tags."
ForecastFox allows you to display current weather conditions and the forecast "in any toolbar or statusbar with this highly customizable extension."
SessionSaver "restores your browser -exactly- as you left it, every startup, every
time. Not even a crash will phase it. Windows, tabs, even things you
were typing -- they're all saved."
